- Wayne Madsen will bat at No 03. He also made much impact in the English ODI Cup with scored 406 runs in the 8 innings.

- Matthew Critchley, Alex Hughes, Leus du Ploody and Tom Lace will be next batsmen at No 04, 05, 06 and 07.

- Wicket Keeper Hervey Hosein and all rounder Fynn Hudson Prentice will bat at No 08 and 09.

- Samuel Conners, Alex Hughes and Fynn Hudson Prentice will lead the pace attack.

- Mark Watt, Wayne Madsen, Lues du Ploody and Matthew Critchley will lead the spin.

- Australia A won the Ist unofficial ODI match against Northamptonshire by 6 wickets. They will be looking to continue their winning momentum in this match also.

- Their bowlers did very well bowl and restricted the opponent for only 262/9 in the first Innings. Ashton Agar picked up three wickets while, J Hazlewood and M Marsh picked up two wickets each.

- In batting, M Wade registered brilliant century with scored 117 runs off just 67 deliveries including three sixes and 18 boundaries.

- Peter Handscomb and Mitchell Marsh also scored 64 and 40 runs respectively.

- Matthew Wade and D Arcy Short will open the batting. Both are very good batsmen and their opening pair made much impact in the Big Bash League. M Wade registered a brilliant hundred in the previous match. D Arcy Short is also a very good batsman and might click in this match.

- Skipper Travis Head will bat at No 03. He is a talented all rounder. He can bat very nicely and bowl off Spin. He scored 30 runs in the previous match.
